Reports to the Drilling Manager. Represents the company and coordinates all construction related activities required to support the Drilling Department, including drilling locations, access roads, camps, airstrips, road maintenance, clean-ups and environmental issues.
- Arranges surveying and staking of proposed well sites.
- Coordinate water well permitting and drilling.
- Organizes location scouting and reports results/recommends location moves.
- Arranges initial and final location surveys and correlates results.
- Prepares Scope of Work for drilling related construction projects.
- Prepares construction cost estimates for AFE preparation.
- Prepares documentation for various approvals prior to construction commencing.
- Prepares and issues construction tender documents.
- Analyses tenders and makes recommendations to management.
- Prepares work orders and obtains the necessary management approvals.
- Estimates and prepares documentation for miscellaneous construction projects.
- Receives correlates and consolidates daily field construction reports.
- Prepares and distributes Weekly Construction Reports.
- Coordinates activities of Construction Supervisors.
- Prepare PR and follow up orders for all water wells and construction related equipment (water pumps, pipe, pit liners etc…)
