This document outlines the minimum requirement for the Daily Drilling Report (DDR) of each day’s activities.
1 GENERAL
LANGUAGE
1. The DDR (Daily Drilling Report) shall be in (English).
OPERATIONS TO REPORT
1. For all COMPANY well operations there must be a written record of each day’s activities, transmitted daily to the COMPANY’s office.
UNITS
1. The units used in the Operations Report shall clearly be mentioned, they can be either Metric or imperial according the area of operation.
2. When possible preference will be given to the Metric system.
REPORTING SYSTEM
1. As a minimum, the basis of reporting for rig-operated activities shall be the official IADC API Tour Report. Before signing the IADC report, the COMPANY Well Operations Supervisor should ensure the following:
a. All well operation details and parameters stated are accurate.
b. Time breakdowns are accurate and the correct time code is used.
c. Bottom Hole Assembly (BHA) geometrical details and weights including weight below the jars are recorded.
d. All pit drills, Well Control (BOP) drills, fire drills and all other drills are recorded.
e. Safety meetings are recorded.
f. Crew details are correct.
g. Hours on jars, shock-subs, motors etc are recorded.
h. The report has been signed off by the Toolpusher and both Drillers.
WELL OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR
1. The Well Operations Supervisor shall compile and transmit a Daily Well Operations Report to the operations base in a format and at a time agreed with the Well Operations Department.
2. This report shall show as minimum (but not limited to):
a. Well name – Block Name – Country – Rig Name - Well surface coordinate
b. 24h summary
c. Safety performance of the day (i.e. number of accident/incident – Number of day since last incident from the beginning of the operations – Number of days since the last incident/accident on the Unit) – Number and nature of the safety meeting held during the day like pre-job safety meeting , risk assessment…
d. Well Depth- Daily Operations Progress (for example Tool or Bit Depth)
e. All relevant well operations parameters
f. Detailed Operations Time breakdown
g. Basic Well Fluid or Mud Characteristics
h. Detailed Tool String or BHA in Hole – i.e. OD/ID – Length – Connection types and description of each component – Weight including weight below jar
i. Detailed tool or bit record
j. Well deviation details
k. Number of days since last BOP test
l. Personnel on Site or Onboard (POB)
m. Daily Cost – Total cumulative cost – Total AFE value
n. 24h forecast
o. Company representatives names
p. Tubing Size and WEG Depth or Last casing set – casing shoe depth – casing characteristics
q. Calculated pore/fracture pressure for exposed well bore
r. Critical Consumable Inventory
s. When applicable Stand-by boat name
t. When applicable Supply boat movement
u. When applicable Helicopter movement.
ADDITONAL REPORTS
The following minimum additional reports shall be completed, transmitted and filed:
a. API well fluids and/or mud report.
b. Daily Geological Report
c. BOP and other pressure tests.
d. Formation integrity tests (FIT) and leak-off tests (LOT).
e. Daily personnel onsite or personnel on board (POB) or similar.
f. Well handover certificates.
g. Casing and cementing reports.
h. Incident and Accident reports.
i. Material manifests.
j. Critical Consumable Inventory (Diesel, fresh water, cement, barite, glycol, etc)
k. Start of well/end of well, inventories.
l. Completion diagrams.
m. Suspension/abandonment diagrams.
n. Site clearance reports.
o. Safety meeting minutes.
