3. Barges can be designed for ice operations. Ice management structures required to protect posts and barge.
4. Suitable for exploration. May be designed for small clusters.
5. Simple barges could be fabricated quickly and relatively cheaply locally. Lead time potentially low.
6. Modified land rig or modular rig can be used. Rig Moves during winter may be possible if a modular rig and two barges are employed.
