Drilling fluid volumes (active, reserve and kill mud)
The minimum safety stock of mud available on surface prior to and whilst drilling any potential high pressure formation will be:
- Active mud 60m3
- Reserve mud (same MW and properties active) 160m3
- Kill/slug mud MW= 2.00 SG 15m3
- Total minimum mud on surface 250 m3
Mud products
In addition, the following minimum stock will be available
- Fresh water 150m3
- Base Oil 75m3
- Sufficient mud product to make 150m3
- LCM 6 T
Barite and cement
- Barite 150T
- Cement 30T
Cementing Products
Sufficient cement additives will be kept on board for 3 x 200m long cement plugs
- De-foamer 38 litres
- Gas-block, fluid loss 1900 litres
- Salt-bond II, Dispersant 800 litres
- Spacer Mud-push as required to build 20m3
