1. RIH 4 ½” liner to shoe depth (Top of liner at RMLS window) as below

- 4 ½” smith needle nose float shoe made up with Baker Lok on one joint of 4 ½” casing
- 3 joints of 4 ½” casing as the shoe track
- Latch down landing collar

- Solid body aluminium centralisers with stop rings, one on the shoe joint and one on every other joint from shoe joint to RMLS window.
- 15 ft transition joint
- Running tool
- 3 ½” / 5” drill pipe to surface

Note:

  • Extreme caution to be taken when running liner hanger through doglegs grater than 10 deg.
  • Liner contractor and directional drilling contractor to be on rig floor at all times to supervise and advise.
  • As the first centraliser passes through the RMLS window the drag is to be noted and to be used as guide for all other centralisers passing through RMLS window.

2. INSTALL the closing plug releasing dart (1.605in OD aluminium nose) in the cementing manifold.

3. PREPARE 30 bbls dual spacer - E in slug pit as follows:

4. BATCH MIX cement slurry to 15.0 ppg as follows: (Includes 15 % excess in open hole and 300ft liner overlap)

5. PUMP 5 bbls freshwater ahead of cement followed by 30 bbls 10.5 ppg Dual Spacer.

6.CEMENT 4.1/2in liner in place with Class “G” cement as per above recipe.

7. DROP shut-off plug releasing dart followed by 2 bbls cement to avoid any rotation of plug when drilling out.
